- A category is a section that we place articles into. With PHPCow, you can create unlimited categories and sub-categories. With category management, you can organize and sort content easier.
- To create a category, open the Manage Categories tab in the left navigation menu and click Add new category.
Enter the title of the new category. If the category is a sub-category of a higher category level, you may select a Category for it in the Category section.
In Group Permissions, grant management access to particular groups for the category by selecting existing group names. Click on Save to continue.
The success message will be shown to indicate that you have successfully created a category.
From this point, you can create another category (repeat steps above) or manage an existing category. Edit an existing category
To edit an existing category, click Manage categories in the left navigation menu.
