Components Of PHPCow Templates: Includes template page sources, blocks and images. When you export a template, the exporter will create the .zip folder that can be saved on your local computer. Please note that the template does not export any articles but only the visual elements. The following export/import feature lets you export and use it on other PHPCOw sites. You can also share the templates with other PHPCOW users.
Steps for exporting a template from Admin are as follows:
• open Export/Import template->Export template section.
• Write the template title, author, include screenshot 200X200px size and click save.
• Save Generated .zip template on your local computer for future importing or sharing with other PHPCow users on web.
Steps for importing the template from Admin are as follows:
• open Export/Import template->Import template section, with browse button – select the template .zip file from local computer and click upload. You can keep as many templates as you like and install/uninstall them anytime you want from the same section.
Please note: there is no need to extract the .zip file for importing as PHPCOW will extract and do the template import automatically.
