You could control html properties of each block either through Built In Blocks or generate your own block using the Custom Block functionality in Block Management module. Content Filtering which encompasses filtering articles/content by type, author, category, number of articles etc lends finer control over content display on templates designed by you in Template Management module. Custom Block even allows you to build your own block level html thereby offering unimpeded design capabilities and flexibility when it comes to controlling and managing your site design.

Content Syndication has always been popular amongst webmasters as a means to have good search engine rankings. Providing Feeds also gets you quicker on search engines as well as offers more visibility amongst netizens who use feed readers on their browsers or desktop to stay updated. PHPCow has RSS Generator for generating RSS and Atom Feeds with the usual "Point And Click" ease of operation that PHPCow has become known for. You could generate Category wise Feeds or Site Wide Feeds from the Admin Control Panel.

In addition, you can also import RSS Feeds of other sites to enrich content of your site. So entire RSS Block Management in short has RSS Exporter and RSS importer which is all that one would need for content syndication.

 Role Based Access Control: Group and User management module lets the administrator define role based access rights to different sections of the Admin Module of PHPCow. This offers a distributed content management control with the Administrator having the overall control of the content being posted to the site. 

Example groups like:

• Group for editors with permission to post, edit, delete articles in some/all sections
• Group for web designers with access to some/all templates
• Group for administrator with complete access level.

Category Control exists both for the Articles and the CMS Section in PHPCow. In the articles section, you could create nested categories for a better and well organized content layout. Combined with User/Group management module, you could also have each Category being looked after by its own team as far as content posting is concerned...

CMS Category management allows you to add non content pages like About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy and other such pages which in general are "Static Pages On Any Site"

Ease Of Navigation Is The Key: PHPCow lets you create the customizable dynamic menu for your website drawn from the category/Subcategory that you create in the Category Management module... You have complete control over menu properties and can arrange horizontally or vertically. For sites wherever necessary, even partial menus can be created to be placed in different sections of the page. For example, you may want to place Terms, Privacy Policy right at the bottom of the page in a different style format as compared to rest of the menu structure. PHPCow makes even this possible.

Template Export/Import has been one of the latest feature additions to PHPCow and was aimed at providing a means of keeping offsite template backup as well as the possibility of sharing templates between PHPCow users... This utility allows the admin to export all components & resources used in template (images, css files, js files, sources and blocks) and creates single archive file on the fly. Saved archived template is installed with PHPCow template import tool. This complements the Template Backup/Restore utility also in providing an off-site template backup should it be needed for disaster recovery at any instant of time.

The importance of this component is best exemplified by your ability to use ready to run templates by downloading the same and importing it into your installation. Access to PHPCow Templates Store is free for all license holders of PHPCow.

Multiple Images On One Artilce:Add multiple photos to articles for creating photo slideshow in article pages. This can be used for certain category of articles where you would always have multiple images by default.

Gallery With Slideshow Also works as a template based gallery with thumbnail arrangement in categories.

Voting - Create unlimited votes. Create your voting questions, answers and insert the vote in template. 

Archive Calendar – PHPCow automatically archives your articles and generates links in the calendar for easy archive navigation.

Search Bar - Any article you add to PHPCow is automatically searchable. PHPCow can search through the Google search and display results on your website within your template (Google API Key needed).

Navigation bar (Breadcrumb) - Also called as Breadcrumb navigation, locates the current webpage in the context of a navigation path.
